The private beach with its 120 meter stretch of fine white sand is situated just in front of the Hotel and is exclusively for guests. However, after a day of sun and on the beach, one might like to relax under the pine trees in our garden where a cool, refreshing breeze blows in off the sea. Hazardless walks along the splendid marine parade are another option, as well as going for rides on bicycles, which are available free of charge from the Hotel. The coastline is peaceful, safe and not overcrowded; all of which are important features when choosing a holiday. Furthermore, it is a safe swimmimg area, thus particularly suitable for families and 
children.
Thanks to all these features, Tortoreto has been awarded the renowned "Blue Flag" trophy for Europe on several occasions; firstly in 1992 and subsequently every year from 1998 to 2007.
